Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and Egypt went all-in with intense back-channel talks this week.

They were pressing both the U.S. and Iran to avoid escalation.

They told the U.S. a strike could blow up the region and wreck the economy.

And they also convinced Iran that retaliating against Gulf U.S. bases would wreck their relations with neighbors.

It was a frantic 48h diplomacy right before Trump signaled he's decided against an attack...

For now.
