Cleveland Guardians perennial All-Star third baseman Jose Ramirez will be placed on the injured list after sustaining a hamate bone fracture in his left hand during Saturday’s 3-1 home win over the Detroit Tigers.
Ramirez sustained the injury on a swing and left the game at the start of the sixth inning.
