停学[ tíng xué ]

⒈ 学生因为某种原因停止上学。例他生病被迫停学。英stop going to school; drop out of school;

⒉ 暂停学籍。例因违反纪律而停学。英suspend sb. from school;

⒈ 谓学生停止上学。有时是学校对学生的一种处分。
